We thank God this morning and we are extremely relieved to announce that the last child was found earlier today - he was 14km away from the city. He got caught up in a crowd of people rushing to escape the area. Thankfully all children are well - none were hurt.
The aftershocks are now 1 hour apart as opposed to 2-5 minutes apart. Everyone slept outside in the streets due to fear that their homes would collapse on them. The government has mandated that all schools remain closed until it is safe to return.
Unfortunately, in the midst of all the chaos as people were fleeing the city, looters stole from many families including the orphanage - some mattresses, blankets, pots and pans were taken.
