May 22, 2021 | Volcano Eruption in Goma, DRC

The largest volcano in Goma, DRC called the Nyiragongo erupted earlier today.

Initially, the lava's direction was opposite the city but has now changed its course and is headed towards the city of Goma.

GUAOA orphanage has been evacuated and people are fleeing the city to find safety.

We will keep you informed of the progress as it is constantly changing.
