Help for Children at Kanyaruchinya Camp
The humanitarian crisis in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is worsening. The UN estimates that over 400,000 people have been internally displaced in eastern DRC ever since the rebel group M23 seized towns in the outskirts of Goma, DRC. The rebel group has killed civilians, destroyed fields of crops and cut off major supply chain routes, severely impacting the livelihood of people in the area.
In the midst of the violence and people fleeing their homes, several children have been separated from their families or orphaned. We aim to help these children who are at risk in camps that are overcrowded, where there is no potable water, unsanitary conditions, increased cholera and insufficient necessities.
Please donate today so we can provide food, clothing, shoes, tarp for shelter, blankets and other day-to-day necessities. Click here to make a donation.
